Kenwood FPM800 3.5 Litre 1000 Watt Multi-Pro Sense Food Processor The Kenwood Multi Pro Sense Food Processor and Blender is the ultimate machine to assist in food preparation tasks.
It features a tough Tritan 3.5 litre bowl and a 1.6 litre thermo resist liquidiser. Kenwood's Multi Pro Dual Drive system means that both Food Processor and Blender can be operated at optimal speed from a single base.
Enlarge Image Speed Control FPM800 series (Multipro Sense) uses a series motor, giving you total control over the task in hand, by allowing you to select the speed relating to the job.
Different speeds can be used for the different attachments and as with most food preparation products also included is the Pulse function.
Pulse is a manual function used for short bursts of power. The auto speed function runs at just below the highest speed. It gives the user a ‘safe’ option should you be unsure of the correct speed. Enlarge Image Bowl Drive The bowl drive system removes the need for a tube in the centre. The drive that attaches to the powerbase is fixed to the bottom of the bowl which increasing the bowls working capacity. The bowl, lid and pushers are manufactured from Tritan. Tritan is a tough polymer used to make housewares products that have to stand up to extreme use and repeated dishwasher cleaning. Products made from Tritan are impact and shatter resistant, they stay clear and durable even after hundreds of cycles using common dishwasher detergents.
Mini Bowl The mini bowl has its own dedicated stainless steel knife blade. It sits within the main bowl and is perfect for preparing smaller quantities. Blender The blender attachment uses an extremely high quality type of glass called borosilicate. You can go from blending ice and cold drinks straight to blending hot soup without cracking or shattering the glass. The goblet is slightly larger at 1.6 litres and has a maximum hot liquid capacity of 1.2 litres. The filler cap has ventilation holes to ensure there is no build-up of steam/pressure while working with hot liquids. Note: ThermoResist glass is not tempered and therefore does not stick together if broken. Knife Blade The knife blade is the main tool used in the food processor bowl and is suitable for a number of tasks. It can be used for coarse or fine chopping depending on the speed used, pureeing, coarse blending and for processing cake mixtures so there is a huge list of recipes that can be created in seconds.
Constructed of stainless steel, it will last longer and used correctly won’t go blunt. Enlarge Image Multipro Sense Discs Multipro Sense offers discs that are reversible. E.g. one disc, two functions; reversible discs are great as they save on space to store them. Enlarge Image Slicing Disc The cutting edge has been reversed and therefore creates more of a scything action. Each slice is perfectly formed in either thin (2mm) or thick (4mm) slices. Enlarge Image Grating Disc The grating blades have been positioned in a slightly different way to our previous grating discs. This has been done to optimise blade to food contact and ensure only the sharpest part is in contact with the food. This gives a much more effective cutting action. Enlarge Image Extra Fine Grater The extra fine grater has been created for harder ingredients and can be used for grating parmesan cheese, potato for rosti’s and fine chocolate for decorating desserts.
Enlarge Image Dual Whisk The dual whisk is fantastic for making light work of whipping egg whites, cream and fatless sponges.
The two whisks (or beaters) work in the same way as a hand mixer rotating at high speed with the main body of the tool rotating around the food processor bowl at the same time.
Enlarge Image Dough Tool The dough tool has been specifically created to knead bread. Rather than using the knife blade which would cut through the dough the arms of the tool are plastic and therefore stretch the dough.

Max Capacity Disc The max capacity disc does exactly what it says, it allows the maximum working capacity of liquids in the bowl with no leakage.
The disc sits in the top of the main bowl over the knife blade and then the lid interlocks in the usual way. Enlarge Image Safety Features To ensure that there is not access to moving blades, all lids come with safety interlocks. Both the bowl and blender be locked into the base before it will start. All knife blades and slicing/grating discs have finger grips to ensure fingers don’t go near any sharp blades.
